The lecture hall is famous for its mural paintings created by the splendid pop artist Roy Lichtenstein in 1970.
Scientific sessions will take place in Lecture Hall 2A, while posters will be mounted in the foyer of the hall directly within the stimulating environment of Roy Lichtenstein's 'brushstrokes'.
The hall is conveniently located right next to the bus stop 'Universität Mensa' and is also close to the bus stop 'Universität West' and tram station 'Uni Ost/Botanischer Garten' (please refer also to the official site map).

| At the Airport, catch the surburban train (S-Bahn) S11 to Düsseldorf Main Station (Hauptbahnhof) in the basement of the terminal building. You have to buy a ticket from a ticket machine for Zone A3 (3.00 €), which is valid for your trip all the way to the venue. Please note: you have to buy it before you enter the train! S11 leaves directly from the airport terminal every 20 min (or 30 min during off-peak times). As an alternative you may take the AirTrain to the Airport Railway Station and catch any RE or S train to Düsseldorf Main Station. |
| At Düsseldorf Main Station, the U79 tram leaves from the basement directly to the university. The final stop of this line is Uni-Ost/Botanischer Garten, which is an 11-minute walk from Roy Lichtenstein Lecture Hall. Alternatively, you can get off at the stop Südpark and catch a connecting bus (line 735 to Erkrath Neuenhausplatz or 827 to Neuss Habichtweg) to 'Universität Mensa' which is definitively the closest stop to the venue. The stop Uni-Ost/Botanischer Garten can also be reached by line U73 (please see also VRR journey planner).

| Ask the driver to take you to Universitätsstraße, Bus Stop 'Universität Mensa'. When you leave the taxi, enter the campus near the pedestrian bridge and follow the way to the Roy Lichtenstein Lecture Hall. |
| Car |
| Leave the A46 motorway at the exit Düsseldorf 'Zentrum/Universität' to Witzelstraße. Turn left at the first crossing into the Universitätsstraße. Follow this street until the Bus Stop 'Universität Mensa', which is under the foot-bridge. Free car parking is available in P3, P4, P5, P8, and P9 (see site map). You can also park in P6 – here you will need to pay a parking fee. Afer getting rid of your car, enter the campus via the foot-bridge. |

| Check out Nextbike, ListNRide, or Rent a Bike for bicycles, and Lime, Tier, or Eddy for e-scooters, and choose whatever fits your taste and budget. The University is around 5 km from Düsseldorf Main Station (approximately 10 minutes by bicycle). |
